During my anxiety days, you would rarely see me standing straight up on my legs. I was either sitting down or leaning on something. The reason is I was afraid my legs would give out on me, and I would collapse.

Muscles tension is the main cause for many anxiety symptoms and weak legs aren’t an exception. The fear of falling from anxiety weak legs stops many people from engaging in their daily and social activities.
If you have been checked out by your doctors and are told that you have anxiety, I can assure you your weak legs sensation is just a bluff. Your legs won’t give out on you. You will not collapse. Those shaky and jelly legs will hold you up and carry you as far as you want them to.
If you have to stand, keep standing. If you need to walk, keep on walking. If you want to work out and exercise, do so. You will be alright. I learned that working against the weak leg feeling actually help my legs to feel better and give me more confidence. And since confidence is fear’s worst enemy, fear will subside, and your anxiety will starve.
Once your anxiety is improved, your weak legs feeling will also improve and eventually go away. Don’t get bluffed by anxiety. Use “challenge” step in the A.C.E.R. Method for this particular symptom and you will be back trusting your legs again.
